商品説明 以前彩の国さいたま芸術劇場で、シェイクスピアの舞台が上演される度に開演前のプレリュードとして「さいたまアーツ・シアターライブ」という生ライブが行われていたのですが、そこに2010年に出演させて頂いた際に作曲・初演した作品です(当時は管打七重奏)。その時に劇場で上演されていた作品が悲劇だったため、深い悲しみを感じられる様な内容にしたいと思い、タイトルもそのまま「エレジー」としました。今回吹奏楽の作曲の機会を頂いたため、その時の作品に大幅に加筆・修正し完成させました。
構成は、前半が序奏として軽快な短調のAllegretto。次々と場面は移り変わっていきますが、テーマ・素材は意識的に限定して作曲しました。後半のフーガでは、それらのテーマ・素材が大きな「歌」となって、繰り返されることにより緊張感が高まってくる様にしたいと考えました。昔からフーガという形式が大好きで、自分でピアノを弾いていると何とも言えない高揚感があるのですが、それを吹奏楽でも表現したいと思いました。(内田祥子)

This is a piece that was written and performed as a wind instruments and percussion septet in 2010. Recently I had the opportunity to compose a piece for wind instruments, so I based it on the piece I performed in 2010 and made corrections and alterations to complete it.
The first half of the composition is a light, pleasant Allegretto in minor key. The mood changes over time, but the elements and overall theme are deliberately restrained. The latter half features a fugue in which those elements and themes become more prominent and song-like, with repetitions to increase tension as it progresses. I have always liked the structure of a fugue, and when I play them on the piano, I feel an indescribable feeling of exhilaration. I wanted to express this same feeling through wind instruments.
